Question: Why is the home page set up like Craig’s List?
Answer: The home page was designed for ease of use similar to Craig’s List, but we list all the difficult to find insurance risks (businesses) so it is easy to locate your type of business.
Question: What if I can not find a business type that fits my description?
Answer: If you can not find the proper business listing please e-mail HYPERLINK mail@insuremybiz.com and let us know what you are looking for. Not only will we try to find an insurance broker for you and send you the information, we will consider adding your business type to the site.
Question: Why are some broker listings nationwide and others in individual or a few states?
Answer: In order for an insurance broker to conduct business in any state they must be licensed by each individual state’s Departments of Insurance. It is the broker’s choice which states they choose to be licensed in.
Question: How do I know that these are legitimate insurance brokers, do you vet them?
Answer: There are simply too many listed for us to do this, but what you can do if you see one that you are interested in contact your State Department of Insurance and do a license check and verify that they are licensed and in good standing in your state. This can often be done on-line and all you need is the broker’s business name.

Question: As an insurance broker is there a charge for being on this site?
Answer: No, there is no charge to insurance brokers to be listed on the site.
Question: I am a broker. Can I make changes to my specialty?
Answer: Yes, you may make changes. Using your email address and a password, you may change your fields as often as you please.
Question: Will InsureMyBiz make changes to my posting?
Answer: No, this is your information, however if we seen any illegalities, slander to other programs or brokerages, we retain the right to delete a posting.

Question: If we have a specialty that is not listed, can we request it to be added to the master list?
